If you look, you'll see many people every day using this classic look. This tutorial covers using the black and brown eye shadow, but can use other eye shadow colors to match your clothes.
For starters, apply concealer and other products that you normally use. My recommendation is Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer. Curl lashes before starting with this look.
To begin, take a small Makeup Brush and some white eyeshadow. Get some eye shadow from the inner corner of eye to the bottom of the brow bone.
Using the same brush, apply eye shadow gray half of the eyelid, a slight overlap between the white eye shadow for the last leg. Finally, apply black eye shadow on the outside of the lid, overlapping shaded gray eye. You should now have three bands of eye shadow, nose to the lightest and darkest at the outer edges of the eyes.
Use a blending brush to blend transitions between the three eye shadows, pulling the eye shadow at any folds in the eyelids as well. Move the brush back and forth through the eyelid to make a perfectly smooth mixture.
Add brown shade above the crease. Apply lightly, mixing on the fly. Brown should extend a bit out of the shade of black on the outside of your eyelid. Use the brush to smooth the mixture brown eye shadows in black, gray and white below. If do not mix everything without problems, looking awkward ending!
Contour makes this look stand out even more! Grab your white eye shadow and apply again the brow bone, softening the march. This makes the smoky eye look stand out even more.
Apply black eyeliner to darken the eye, and then add mascara to complete the smoky eye look. It is important to use the coffee (or some other color), since using only black, gray, white and ends up looking too monochromatic and unnatural. Brown helps the outside of the mixture of smoky eye on your natural skin tone.
