The application of mascara is certainly not the easiest thing in the world. Globs of mascara stains on your eyelids carefully shade, stabbing self same in the eye with the brush, there are plenty of things that can go wrong for the Novice mascara. Despite these potential obstacles, applying mascara is a relatively simple. Once the hang of it, it is easier to avoid common errors, and clean up the mess easier on those occasions it is necessary.
How Apply the mask
These simple steps can help you apply mascara correctly the first time. You can use these suggestions as a guide the first time you apply mascara, or simply to help you determine if you are in range problems for some reason.
First step: Apply mascara after applying the rest of your eye makeup. Always make sure your eyelashes are clean and dry before you start applying mascara.
Step Two: Start the application process by bending the tabs. Spending a few dollars in an eyelash curler is without doubt a great investment! A eyelash curler can do wonders for the process of applying mascara. Make sure you always before applying mascara curl, as if trying to curl your lashes when are lined which promotes the formation of lumps.

- For a more natural look, apply one or two coats of mascara clear, rather than a variety of colors. This can work very well for blondes who prefer not to use darker colors.
- For all skin tones and the hair, use your normal mascara on top lashes. Apply clear mascara to lower lashes to add length and definition of a subtle look for the day.
Application Tips
- Be sure to use the right tools. An eyelash curler and comb lashes may not seem as essential pieces of equipment, but they make a big difference in the outcome. Curling lashes opens your eye area, and using an eyelash brush is the best way to ensure that the tabs are well separated and smooth.
- Another tip to help to separate the lashes and reduce clumping is to run a clean mascara wand through lashes after applying mascara. This is a bit easier do that using an eyelash comb, if you are a beginner. You can buy packages of clean straw in most beauty supply stores.
- Mascara stains very easily in accessories and oil-based foundations. Dust a little powder under your eyes before applying mascara, to help prevent the formation of imperfections. If you get stains, dust also makes them easier to remove.
- Speaking of the removal of stains, make this lightly sliding or rolling a cotton swab on the stain. If the stain is resistant to this method, wet the sponge a bit then try again.
- It is perfectly possible applying mascara to upper lashes. This can be a great aspect of blondes, in particular, and also can help open small and sunken eyes.
