Though pearls are common as part of the most expensive jewelry, which were for a long time has been reserved only for the richest people in the noblest standards. Before 1900, a pearl necklace can never equate to anything. It is known that the stone was most expensive in history and was hailed as the Queen of Pearls.
Who discovered the pearl and recognized its uniqueness are questions that are yet to respond.
