In expensive, but good makeup brush cleaner?

Someone knows about a good cleaner for makeup brushes? I know that has one MAC and I use Japonesque but was wondering if anyone has something that is cheaper (mine was $ 12 and the bottle is not all that big) that is somewhat decent.

I have a friend who works at Mac and she said they use a little soap and water is what they used for cleaning brushes, but they tell u they use their own brush so u can buy it. Thus, their u go use soap and water and u dont have to worry about pay about 12 dollars for something so small. Hope I could help.
